Aside from today, there really hasn't been much going on. Hallee turned 6 months on Christmas Eve. I assumed our tree would be safe from a little crawling girl, but she learned to crawl about a week before Christmas. She thought the tree was pretty neat. Fortunately, it never came down on her.
We had a great Christmas. Each of us were spoiled far more than we deserve. Now we are just trying to get through the long months of winter. Kenadee turned 4 in January and we went to Heise swimming. She is a little fish and had a great time. She also moved up in her gymnastics class and is getting pretty good at all she is learning.
Jon has had a few weeks off until his next job starts so we have been doing some remodeling. He added an entertainment center above the fireplace and has replaced most of our paint grade trim with Alder trim. We also painted the bonus room orange. It was kinda wild at first, but we love it now.
We have also been going to the cabin a lot. Last weekend, it was warm enough for Kenadee to spend quite a lot of time outside. We went sledding down some hills and then Jon pulled us behind the snowmobile out on the flats for awhile. Kenadee loved it! Boots, however, didn't. He got a little tired running in the deep snow, so he got to ride on the snowmobile with dad. Spoiled? Yes.
